The refrigeration energy consumption of the hydrogen refueling station comes from the inlet and outlet cooling of the compressor and the pre cooling of hydrogen before entering the onboard gas cylinder. Therefore, the cooling system of the hydrogen refueling station is divided into a compression cooling system and a pre cooling system. Most hydrogen compressors use hydraulic driven reciprocating piston compressors or diaphragm compressors. During the pressurization process, the temperature of hydrogen gas will increase, and the compressor cylinder liner and lubricating oil system also generate a large amount of temperature rise heat energy, which requires external cooling energy to cool it. In addition, during the process of adding hydrogen to the car’s on-board bottles through a hydrogen refueling machine, due to the high flow rate and the inherent characteristics of hydrogen, the temperature of hydrogen will also rise sharply. Cooling measures need to be taken to control the temperature of hydrogen within the specified range to ensure refueling safety and the storage capacity of the car’s bottles. Therefore, a certain scale of refrigeration system needs to be installed in the hydrogen refueling station to solve the problem of equipment temperature rise.
